Today's offering showcases this Certified Pre-Owned mens vermeil Cartier Tank watch with diamond encrusted case. It has an iconic tank case, classic Roman dial, gold epee hands, sapphire topped crown, and mechanical Cartier movement.
Before cost-cutting measures brought about the widespread use of cheaper quartz movements for many wristwatches, Cartier contracted with watch manufacturers to produce mechanical movements designed to last a lifetime. Using traditional watchmaking practices, these gifted craftsmen poured individual attention into each wristwatch. As a result, mens Cartier wristwatches with mechanical movements are often more sought after by collectors than their quartz counterparts.
Originally designed for men, but by today's standard it could also be worn well by a woman.
It has just finished a true expertly done restoration and presents in gorgeous condition. The back shows light remnants of wear and no signs of having been previously significantly polished. The diamonds have been previously added by a jeweler (non-Cartier). On the wrist it presents like new.
One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it - it is keeping very accurate time.
For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment. Note that the band is just slightly different than the band that was on it in the photos.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
